Update Adobe Air and Design Production Tool did not open.

It says "The required native extension is missing for this application. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance." To make a change, however. Because the program is not lost.

Hello,

Hope this helps: I uninstalled Adobe AIR version 20 and then installed version 19 again and 6.1 production tool ran fine for me.

Here is the step by step process I used from this website (https://support.ankama.com/hc/en-us/articles/215046998-MAC-Problem-with-Adobe-Air-20):
1. Delete /Applications/Utilities/Adobe AIR Application Installer.app
2. Delete /Applications/Utilities/Adobe AIR Uninstaller.app
3. Download AIR 19, launch the installer and follow its instructions
4. Create this folder: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/updateDisabled to disable AIR updates.

Best,
-Justin

Hi,
I had the same problem. There is a problem with the plug-in and the last version of adobe air.
Apparently you need to install Air version 20 and make sure auto update is off. If this doesn't help and just pop-up a new error message (as was the case with me) you also need to install production tool 6.0 instead of 6.1.

Here is the article about it with all the files you need.
https://support.magplus.com/hc/en-us/articles/214918028-Adobe-Air-error-when-installing-updating-to-Designd-Production-Tool-6-1

Although searching the forums did not come up with the answer I was lucky to find it through google.
