Guid version has already been taken

getting this error trying to upload different device versions. I'm not understanding what this error is referring to. Is the "Guid version" the MIB number? The number appended to the end of the file name? iPad version went up ok but now getting this error on Android phone/tablet, and iPhone 5, which worked previously. The production tool is assigning hirer version number at the end of the GUID-base each time, so not sure how the "guid version can be taken" if I've never put up that version number before. Perhaps I'm not understanding what "version" refers to here?

Hi Bryan,
I'm glad you were able to work it out, this is not a known issue but rather it is by design since our database is set up in such a way that every MIB file uploaded under a specific Issue ID must be uniquely identified by a version number at the end of the file string regardless of its file name.

This information is also outlined in our support article about uploading/replacing MIBs:

Hello Bryan,
Are you still having trouble uploading your MIB files?

Hey Mike.
Through another developer, figured out that you need the GUID numbers to be unique even if the file names already are. So we had iPhone file abc.0 and Android file xyz.0 and we'd get the GUID taken error on the Android upload because we'd already put up a file with a .0 suffix.
Is this a known issue? I couldn't find any documentation on it.
