transition guides that can shorten as well as lengthen pages

It'd be handy if the transition guide could shorten the A layer in addition to lengthening it.

Hi Dave -

As it stands today, the system automatically calculates the end of the A layer at the bottom of any content on the layer - it couldn't be shortened beyond that or you'd end up with A layer content from two pages overlapping. What you might be seeing now is that the system automatically brings in the next B slide when the bottom of the A layer reaches the halfway point of the screen - we could explore in the future being able to set that transition point to happen lower but when we initially tested this, the user feedback was that the transition was happening too quickly and users got confused.

Thanks for getting back Mike, the issue I was having is I didn't want the user to have to scroll the bottom of the A layer right up past the halfway point before layer b transitions. I saw the multiple background tutorial where you got around this by breaking your text into 2 areas. But I also want to use snapping for the next section and I don't want the previous text to be seen on that next page. So it'd be helpful if we could have some negative flexiblity from the  transition guide if just for that last half of the screen.

I am looking for the same feature. The post is 1 year old, is it possible now? I would like the text A layer doesn't appear on the next or previous page. Each layer on his page. Is there any way to do it? Thanks in advance
