Page width should change with orientation

I don't like the way you can see the extra space as you transition from vertical to vertical when it's in portrait - to me It looks like a mistake.  Even when I look at the popular science magazine eg. page 58, slide across in portrait mode and you see the Electronic AX text again on the right as you slide left. It's a small detail but as designers this stuff drives us crazy. And because there's no other page transitions at our disposal - this one should work perfectly.

Hey Dave - 

We hear ya. That's a consequence of the fact that you can use one design for both orientations, but coming this fall, we will introduce the ability to have separate layouts for landscape and portrait by using different master pages in InDesign - this will solve that issue!

I have a similar issue with the large blank gap between pages if orientation is locked to portrait. It's really annoying. Glad to hear it's being addressed. Will be keeping an eye out for this update for sure!
