Close fullscreen slideshow in popup

Hi guys :)

This could be a silly question, with an obvious answer, I"m not sure.

I have a popup that loads an html slideShow, fullscreen. What I'd really like to be able to do, and am having troubles with, is simply close the popup with either a button, or by double tapping.

Is there a way to pass the 'close popup' call from javascript inside the html?

Thanks :)

Jay

Hi Jay,

I moved your post here to the feature request forum as we haven't implemented a script that you are looking for. I will have a look with our developers to see what is possible to do for future updates.

Great - thanks for the response Anders :)

So, currently, is there anyway that I can close a html popup, other than with the button that opens it?

Hi Jay,

Unfortunately not. Unless you are using a modal popup, then the user will be able to tap wherever outside the popup to close it.

Hi Jay,

It should work, we haven't found any problems with html in modal popups. The only problem is that the html used in modal popups must be available online. Is it not working for you?

Ahhh,, I understand :)

I want to used the html from a local file, as I have been with other HTML elements so far... Is there a reason why the HTML in a modal must be online?
