Cannot start Production Tool from InDesign

I have Installed Tools and able to use separately ID plugin and Production Tool. But when I click a "Mag+ Production Tool" menu item from InDesign, Production Tool won't start.

Win7 64bit, InDesign CC 2014, Mag+ Tools 64bit

Hello Dmitry,

Are you able to launch the Production Tool from your Program Files?

Hello Mike.

Yes I can launch it without any problems but that's all I can do. It does not contain any files and I cannot load them.

Dmitry,

Have you already gotten to the point of exporting your vertical from the InDesign Plugin?  If so, please be sure to review our support articles on using the Production Tool:

If you are not seeing your exports, make sure that the "Clipboard" panel is not collapsed but clicking the orange arrow at the top.

Mike,

Thanks for reply. Should I use the Export button to prepare a vertical for PT? Or should I use "Full preview" instead?

I set radiobutton "Review MIB File" and exported the vertical to output folder. After that I started PT and added a path to that output folder, but no changes.

Altmost forgot. I didn't press Export button, I used Full Preview and had a mib file in output folder.

When I press "Export" button, I get the message "Export failed because the issue folder could not be located!"

My settings are in attached screenshot. "Z" is a mapped network drive.

Hello Dmitry,

Yes you will use the Export button to export your verticals files to be loaded into the Production Tool.  Full Preview is just for reviewing your content on your device.  The "Review MIB File" radio button option is just to create a single vertical test MIB, this is not how you would export your final content.

You also need to be sure that you are setting your "Export Folder" path in the InDesign Plugin.  I recommend reading through some of our other support articles on Exporting using the Plugin to ensure you have everything configured properly:

as well as exporting information and tips:
