Make a imag sequence w/ tilt

I need to create an image sequence that is activated by tilting the ipad, instead of using swipe. Is it possible? If it is, how can I do it?

Hi Sandrina,

If you are asking can this be done with an image sequence generated from the Feature Builder I'm not sure. I've done a few image sequences using other software applications so I took a look at one called Reel360 http://reel360.org/reel  They have a javscript function called 'Orientation' and it can be set at True or False. I added it to the example http://test.vostrel.net/jquery.reel/example/object-movie-camera-sequence/ and loaded it as an HTML object into a iPad Template.

It sort of works and the cup spins as you move the orientation of the iPad but the action is a bit hit and miss and I can't use touch to move the object.

Using gyro works well with a 360˚ panorama as the scene is revealed when you move the iPad around or up and down but with an object move it looks and feels a bit strange.

I'm only relatively new to Mag+ so I'm not aware of all the tips and tricks of getting HTML objects to respond to touch so if anyone wants to jump in I'd be glad to hear what they have to say.

Okay, quick update. I played around a little bit more with the HTML object and I found that if you put it on the A Layer you can use touch to control it. So the answer is yes you can tilt and move the iPad to move the image sequence and you can also touch and swipe to move it.

If your intention is to highlight the fact that the object can move then it may be of use.
