Can't install Ad Hoc app

When trying to install my test app, I receive an error message.

Trying by email link results in "Unable to download app. Application could not be installed at this time."

Trying by iTunes results in "Not a valid app"

How would I go about debugging to find out what piece is not validating?

Hello Jeremy,

I'm sorry you're having some trouble.  For starters, you'll want to make sure that the particular device(s) you are trying to install your app on have been added to your Device list on your Apple Developer Site and included in the AdHoc Provisioning Profile for that app.  If you are unsure how to do this please read our article on setting up your test device here — http://support.magplus.com/entries/21042956

If you device is already setup and you are still having trouble, let me know and I'll try to help you further.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply. I double checked and the device is registered according to all instructions. Went thru the steps one more time, re-built the app and tried to install. The same error message appear, referring to it as an "invalid app." Your continued support is much appreciated.

Jeremy,

What generation is the iPad device you are trying to install to and what iOS version is it running?
