Pinch and zoom: can hot spots scale with with the page?

The editorial we work with involves a LOT of links. In most cases we can reformat the layout to best fit our needs, but sometimes there's a set design that we just have to fit within the frame and set it to pinch and zoom. However, when you set a clickable area it does not zoom with the page. So the user can only accurately tap the link when the page is viewed in its original size. Is there a way around this? Is this something Mag+ is working on for future updates?

Hello Erica,

This should work if you set your pinch & zoom image's Object ID to the same ID as your Clickable Area hotspot for your link.

Thanks for your quick response, Mike! I'll remember that for future projects. Unfortunately, the projectI am working on right now includes listings for accommodations so there are multiple hot spots per page.

Erica,

You can re-assign the same IDs to all of the Clickable Area hotspots so they will all work on the same page in sync with the pinch & zoom image, no problem.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your previous comment. I was thinking of the hotspot link for some reason, rather than the object ID. Thank you so much!
