Blank menu when upgrading from 4.2.2 to 4.3 plugin update

After downloading the new update today, 5/9/13, and removing/deleting the Mag+ folder from the InDesign CS6 Applications folder, I installed the new update. But when viewing any of my previous InDesign files created with 4.2.2, the MAG+ plugin Window withing Indesign is completely white and blank on all 3 tabs for Vertical | Object | Settings.

Is anyone experiencing this?

I have reverted to 4.2.2 installation until it's resolved.

Hello all,

Can you try deleting the plugin files manually (located in your Adobe > InDesign > Plugin folder) as well as deleting the plugin preferences before before running the new installer?  Here is where to do this:

Also, if you have multiple CS versions installed on your computer with multiple versions of the plugin please remove those as well.

Please let me know if this does not help & I'd be happy to continue to troubleshoot this problem with you.

A question for Sam - did deleting the preferences in the Library folder work for you?

Hi Wie-San Lau, it didn't work for me. I deleted the preferences and the plugin folders in CS5, but no luck. i'm running CS5 on Mac OS 10.7.5.

Sam,

This could also be network related.  Is is possible that you are behind a firewall, have certain proxy settings setup on your network, are you running any sort of network monitoring programs such as LittleSnitch?

Are you able to connect your computer to a different network to see if the problem persists?

Hi Mike,

It looks like that fixed it! I was running little snitch.

Thanks!
