I have a horizontal layout, and I want to add an overlay for navigation. I would like the overlay to be on the left edge (with the tab to pull out in the upper left corner), and then slide out to the right to see the navigation. Right now when I test it, it slides UP (not to the right). Any ideas?

yeah, i am exploring the OVERLAY LAYER as a va tool too. as far as using the native plugin i think UP is our only option. (seems like the default)
my problem is, is that it pops UP too far. i am trying to figure out how to have it sit on the bottom when it pops up. another bummer is that you cant tap the TAB for it to go back down, you have to manually swipe it back to its hiding place. hopefully i am wrong
@Rich: As I understand it you are looking to do to a horizontal swipe to view the menu? In that case I recommend using HTML as you will then be able to place links inside. Here's how to make a scrollable object using html: http://support.magplus.com/entries/20867562
