Production Tool update ... No Android or Kindle MIBs?

We have not been able to export MIBs for Kindle or Android for over a week now (since the 4.1 update). We are new to Mag+ and are already extremely displeased with the service, thusfar. Lucky for us, we were 1-day into our contract before their internal errors prevented us from publishing on the markets they are contracted to provide (and we are paying for).

Is anyone else having this issue and if so, have you found a workaround?

Hi Beth,

We are sorry for your trouble.

Please let us know which version of CS you are using and what OS you are on.

If you are on PC and CS6 do the following:

If you go to your "Mag+" folder in your programs folder you will find a file called "MagPlusDevices.xml". Copy this file to "C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\MagPlus"

Restart Indesign, now you should be able to export to Android.

We are using a PC and CS5

As advertised, your solutions should work for CS4-CS6.

We can't publish anything as we are brand new to Mag+. Also, very concerned that we would be missing deadlines should this have occurred while we were live (we publish weekly).

Hi Beth,

I can see that there was a ticket created for this in our support system and this issue is handled by one of my colleagues. I'll close this ticket so the issue is handled in one place.
