HTML box doesn't appear with transparent background on Android (Nexus 7)

Hi, I have a slideshow with swipe HTML box with transparent background. It works fine on iPad 2 and 3, but it puts a white background on the HTML box once I preview on Nexus. What's the trick to remove it? Thank you

It put white background on any png file with transparent background, no matter if it's in a HTMl box or not. Even a rounded corner rectangle drawn in inDesign gets additional corners....

Verginiya found an article ( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7017093/png-image-showing-up-with-grey-background-in-android) which suggests we need to set the XML of the view to transparent. I opened up the mib in BBEdit but could find no such block of XML to edit. Is it something we have access to change somewhere? More information about that XML is here:  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6608947/android-transparent-textview

Thanks, -Step

Unfortunately Android is not able to handle transparant html at the moment. This is because a webview is used to show the html slide-show and there is a bug in the Android platform (  http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=28410 ) how trasnparent webviews are handled in the GPU.

The view you are refering to here is not availible to you, this is part of the datamodel in the app and is not related to the xml in the mib. The background color of the the layout containing the block normally follows the background from indesign, but html is unfortunately an exception from this.
