Apple Push Notification Certificate must be issued for the app with bundle id...

I've followed the directions the full way through. I need to submit today, but I keep getting the message in the headline. The push notification IS issued for the correct app, but it is not uploading to Mag+.

Halp!

I had to restart and get all the Apple development certificates again. If you don't down load them in the correct order, they won't validate.

I *think* (and apologies, I did this six months ago), I had to create and upload the distribution certificate first in the Apple Developer account, and upload that and then the ad hoc and app store distribution certificates and after that the push notification certificate and also upload them in that order. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, it was 6 months ago now.

Finally got this to work, with Mag+ support's help.

In Publish, go to "Apps" and then "App Store Settings" and check the "Application Bundle ID."

Make sure you follow the instructions I copied and pasted below. We had put the wrong information in this field, so it wasn't matching the p12 we were uploading, so we were getting the error message.

The id of the applications as created on developer.apple.com [ screenshot] Make sure not to include the unique ten character string called the 'Bundle Seed ID' but only the Bundle Identifier. Eg. if you have registered an id like: 3NWALFF4W5.com.magplus.myapp then the Application Bundle ID is: com.magplus.myapp

Other than that, following the instructions in this link seemed to work, when followed closely. There were a couple of things that weren't spelled out completely (like installing the Distribution Certificate after downloading).

http://www.magplus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/AppStore-Publish-3.0-v1.3.pdf

Also, when creating the Distribution Certificate, don't go to "Apple Developer Distribution Certificate" as called out in the pdf (I'm not even sure that exists). Instead, look at the documentation here for "Manually Managing a Distribution Certificate"

http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/ToolsLanguages/Conceptual/DevPortalGuide/ManaginganiOSDistributionCertificate/ManaginganiOSDistributionCertificate.html

Hope it helps...
