Hi Az,

Happy you have found our forum :)

We have had some problems with popups on the a-layer, our developers are looking into it, the problem is intermittent, especially when using multiple popups. Most problems are solved by looking into how the plugin layers objects:

On the a-layers the plugin reads along the y-axis when exporting. The first object it "meets" will be arranged in the very front. The next object it "meets" will be arrange below the first object and so on.

So have a popup on the a-layer to be arranged in front of the other objects on the a-layer it has to be read first by the plugin, my suggestion is to group the popup with a transparent box that has the value y=0. And then having the rest of the a-layer below, meaning that they will have the y-value=0,001.

Then the popup should be arranged in front.

Let me know how it works out!

Cheers,

Anders

What if you have more than one popup on the A layer?

This worked when I only had one popup on the layer but it doesn't seem to be working for multiple popups on the A layer.

Hej all, its to do with the naming of the buttons, and the type of pop up. I think i cracked it

On the pages i have created. a normal pop up with thethe same ref as the button works fine.

With a pop up with close button, i had to have the button named differntly as the pop up.

Sorry im pants at expaining :(

I have a similar problem. The transparent box helped me keep the A-layer popup in place (so that it follows the layer).

BUT - now the modal popups stay at the top of the A-layer instead of always being visible on the same place of the page no matter where you are on the A-layer.

Please help. I am having to go through old documents and rework them. I am having to spend unnecessary time on things that should just easily translate between upgrades.

Is this 3.5 or 4?

I managed to get all my multiple pop ups working but it took a while to sort in 3.5... not started on 4 yet

This is in 4.0. It used to work perfectly fine in 3.5 but everything seems to have messed up in 4.0.

All my old 3.5 .mibs are now messed up when I view them on Reviewer 4.0.

Hi guys,

We had a bug in the 4.0 update causing the problem you are having with the popups on the a-layer. It is now fixed so it will work as it did in the 3.5 version. The bug fix for the Mag+ Reviewer (v.4.0.2) will be released at the end of next week. Apps built in Mag+ Publish will have this bugfix included.

Sorry for your trouble.

Regards,

Anders

@Hannah: Is it possible for you to send me the InDesign file where the a-layer is not scrolling all the way?
