problem in the export to Mag + tools

Hello, I have a problem in exporting to Mag+. keep getting the following error and I can not solve: the document does not match the selected device.

can you give me a hand?

Hi Fabio,

Are you able to review even though the error message is showing?

Make sure you have selected the correct device in the plugin and it should work.

the device is selected and the error goes away if I select table of contents.

I still can not view the article on the device. it generates a blank page.

connection with the device is ok because if I select a background and then selectfast review, the color is displayed on the article but no.

please advise.

Hi Fabio,

It sounds as though the plugin is set to Device: iPad Retina and you are reviewing on a regular iPad, could that be it? Make sure that you have set Device: Apple iPad in the plugin if you are not Reviewing on an iPad3.

Hello Anders, the device is correct.

Thanks for the support but I can not review anything. I have trouble creating the vertical, the error says that the path is wrong.

At this point I've made a mistake configuring the MAG + tool.

you may review on IPAD  with Windows PC (the same network) is a problem?

I was having the same problem. Turned out that my problem was that I started with a new blank document and tried to preview it. That produced the same sort of errors that Fabio was having. I then tried one of the sample Mag+ files and it was fine, so that's when I realized that I just needed to start with one of the Mag+ provided templates (which I had forgotten about).

Hi.

I have the same problem. I am using an iPad (1) and when I export it says: Warning! The document does not match the selected device.

I click OK and then it starts creating the files, but it always freezes when it reaches the Blayer blocks. The whole program freezes and I need to shut down the inDesign process. I am using InDesign CS6.

Any ideas?

Here's a screenshot. I've tried unchecking "Apple iPad Retina" and "Apple iPhone 4" but same problem appears.

Hi Daniel,

Make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin found at Magplus.com.

Also, if you click the setting stab in the plugin. Go down an open the Multiple export section. Make sure none of the templates are marked red, if they are, click on the template icon and point it to the correct template.
