Video in a Pop Up doesn't stop playing.

Hi you people!

I got this issue, I attached a video (youtube and vimeo checked!) into a pop up. It works perfectly until I closed the popup and realized that the sound of the movie was still playing... so, the movie played on background, invisible...

Any idea?

Please, I need some help! I made Modal Pop ups for videos, but when I close the window the sound continues...

Thank You Anders! It is not as beautiful as modal window, but in this case, it could work. If you have another idea for this, please, make me know about it!

Have you solve this problem in the new version? I hope so, because I need to play/stop videos within boxes not in the way you suggested previously... :( Thanks Anders!

HI, just adding to an old thread. Are there any built listeners that we can listen for if we created some custom JS or a library. We have a similar issue with inline videos not stopping on swiping to next page. We are also using multiple sound  bites and need them to stop when you swipe to next page or play another sound. We have also written some custom graph animations and want them to play only when the page has been scrolled and in focus?

ANY THOUGHTS

Hello Wayne,

Are you using the latest version of our tools.  4.3 Plugin & 4.3.1 Reviewer App?

Would you mind shooting over a direct download link to a .zip file containing your InDesign vertical file & include any applicable links (images, video, html files) so I can take a look at the exact issue you're having.

Hello - sorry to revive an old thread, but we're having this issue (popup youtube video doesn't stop playing on close) and I'm wondering if it's been fixed yet, or if making the video a weblink is still the only option?
