Hello Todd-

Are you trying to review from InDesign or from the Production Tool?  If InDesign, can you take a screen grab of your plugin.  If the Production Tool, can you take a screen grab of the settings in the upper left corner?

Thanks,

I'm getting the same error message. Reviewing from Production Tool and have been for about 2 hours successfully, then started to error. I've tried switching to another build and back, closing Production Tool and restarting computer.

Fixed! (from another support forum)

Anyway, go in to the Production Tool and click on preferences and make sure "Local Brand settings" and "Mib versions file" is empty, if not, click remove next to the option. Also make sure the the Review MIB file location is not locked.

Hi

I've getting the same error message in the Production Tool, ' Issue is Locked' 'Cannot lock for update' when I try to save or create a Mib.

I've try Susan's solution, but still get the same error message?!

Ok all sorted now, just had to restart the production program, and now it's working.

Thanks Susan

@Meng: If you are getting the same problem again you can try this:

First, setup your computer so that you can see hidden files.

Here's how to set it up on a Mac to view hidden files:

Open Terminal, type this command, and press Enter:

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles

Here's how to to set it up in Windows 7 to view hidden files:  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Show-hidden-files

Then go to your folder that you have selected to export to. If there's a hidden file in there called "ISSUE.LOCK", delete it and restart Production Tool.

That should solve your problem.

In terminal when I copy in the string Anders suggests I get this message

Rep argument is not a dictionary

Defaults have not been changed.

Suggestions?

I found this command for showing all files elsewhere and it worked

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

I was able to delete the ISSUE.LOCK files, restarted Mag+ Production Tool and now when I try to save I get this message:

An unhandled error has occurred: TypeError: Error #1009

Hi Kevin,

Try removing the preferences by deleting the two Magplus folders found under Users/~user~/Library/Preferences/ and restart the Produciton tool to see if that helps.

Anders
