Hi Chris,

You should be able to double click the script and it will update the miblisting.

Hi Anders. I did this but all i still get in the miblist.txt file is below.

REVIEWER.MIB.LIST

The make_miblist content is here:

#!/bin/bash

FILENAME="miblist.txt"

URL=" http://dl.dropbox.com/u/74520989/Magplus/"

HERE="dirname $0"

echo REVIEWER.MIB.LIST > "$HERE"/$FILENAME

for fn in $HERE/*.mib ; do

    echo basename "$fn" "|" $URL/basename "$fn" >> "$HERE"/$FILENAME

done

clear

echo "Enter" $URL/$FILENAME "in the Magplus reviewer"

echo "       ___               "

echo "      / _ \___  ___  ___ "

echo "     / // / _ \/ _ \/ -_)"

echo "    /____/\___/_//_/\__/ "

And the reviewer winder is empty

please help.

Hi Chris,

To make it easier I converted the text file for you, download the file here.

Place it in the same folder and replace the old make_miblist.txt file. Open the file with the text editor and enter " http://dl.dropbox.com/u/74520989/Magplus" where it asks you to enter the URL. Save. Now when you double click the script you will see that it is running and then if you have a look at the miblist.txt you will see that it has been updated with mibs located in the same folder.

Chris -  We are almost there :)

Donwload the .sh file again and open it in the text editor without changing the extension. Then simply do a "save" and close the document so it doesn't change extension form .sh. Then double click the .sh file to update the miblist.

Here are some alternatives on programs that can open .sh files, I don't have access to a PC to test them on at the moment but if they don't work it shouldn't be hard to find a program that does work on Google :) http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/sh

@Chris: Make sure you have removed the last "/" in the path for the folder in the "make_miblist" document.

Ok, and the mib file and miblist.txt is place in the same folder as the make_miblist.sh file?

Hi Chris,

The .sh file seems to have become corrupt, I made a new one for you with the url you had entered. Place this file in the saw folder, do not make any changes to it, just run the script.

Double clicking the .sh cant work if there is something like text wrangler loaded as the .sh is editable and will always open inside the app instead of executing. My work around was to run it via command.
