Locking the A layer?

Is there a way to lock the A layer so that it doesn't scroll?

Hi Peter

What do you want to create?

If you do not want a scroll, you should use the B layer only option.

I want to create static text (such as a caption) on top of a photo that can be hidden. But I don't want it to scroll.

Thanks

Using pop-ups would make the text invisible by default, then bringing up the text in a pop-up by tapping it.

But what if you want text (for a title of an article, for example) on top of the photo (B layer)?  Like Peter, I want the text to be there be default, but want to keep it on the A layer so it will disappear when double-tapped.

Is there a way to just disable scrolling for the A layer, or lock it into position on top of the B layer so that the both layers flip to next page?

Thanks in advance-

D

Hi David,

You can have the popup being "initially visible". Meaning, it will have the text being visible by default.

I have a single screen page I don't want to scroll in any direction (Locked to landscape), but it has an html element. (It's a TOC page) Problem is, when someone scrolls the page, the html element scrolls slightly with it, and moves out of alignment with the page. I can't use the pop-up solution with an HTML element, correct?
