Error Code #2015

I am able to view an A-Layer only vertical in the Mag+ preview app on the iPad and everything is fine.  But when I export the vertical to my Production Tool, I get a #2015 error code.  It does not let me use it and quits out of the Production Tool.  Help please.

Hi Brian,

  • Are you working from different computer exporting to the same issue folder? In that case, go into to that folder and delta the file called ISSUE.LOCK, then start production tool again, that should do it.

  • Is it a specific file that is causing you problem? What happens if you remove verticals one by one of the clipboard? If you find a vertical that is causing problems, check if you are using any linking and linking to other verticals or media and make sure does works.

  • What happens if you remove the A-layer only feature of the vertical and re-export, does it still give you the error? If so, go to Preferences in the production tool and make sure nothing is selected under Mib versions file.

Let me know how it works out!

Regards,

Anders

FYI - Got this today from another person who had the error 2015 as well: "I think I've sorted this issue. There were some errors in the file names of some images in one of the verticals, which i assume were creating a conflict in the metadata. The file name in question was < _mg_8416.jpg> I think the underscore at the start of the filename was causing issues."

I only get this message when I download html and us this from the Mag+ feature builder, I have tried to do everything to sort this out but I have lost a lot of time and have now missed my deadlines because of this :-(

Hi Anders... I get this problem with two verticals, even if I just have a plain black box on the A-layer I still get this message so it has nothing to do with any of the links, This is very odd indeed, I have done all the above and still nothing

HI Anthony,

You were mentioning you were using HTML. Is the .html file located in a separate folder as described in this article? http://support.magplus.com/entries/21124102

If that is not the problem. Is it possible for you to zip the folder you have chosen to export your verticals to and send them to support@magplus.com, set the subject to "anders - http://support.magplus.com/entries/21122833".

Let me know here if/when you have sent the file.

Regards,

Anders
