HTML on popup layer

Hi,

I was just wondering if there is any way to use a html coded image on the popup layer.

I would love for an image to be clicked on, and then once in the 'modal' type view, you can swipe it, pinch and zoom it or even turn it 360.

Is there any way this can be done?

Thanks

Popup URL - If you wish to have a HTML object in a popup you can do that by entering a URL in the URL field for your popup (note, this is different than the URL for the clickable area, where you entered “popup://[obj id]”). It is not possible to link to an HTML file on your computer, the file has to be on server and connected using URL (this means that the reader needs to be online in order for the html object to show, if you place an image in the HTML block, that image will show if the user is offline.) — in future updates it will be possible to link to a file on your computer.

Anders-  Ahh great thanks so much!! - Great to see it will be developed into the new update :D

One last question though. What URL do i use? I tried the URL from the Mag+ Feature Previewer but it doesn't work. Do i need to host this feature on my own site?

Any advice on how I can create a URL for the popup to direct to my HTML document? - Tried looking online for a HTML document host/server and didnt have much luck.

This is really frustrating. Please reply asap.

Hi Hannah,

You should be able to link to the preview of the html from the feature builder. If that's not working and if you have a website you should be able to host the html from there.

Regards,

Anders

Hi Anders,

I linked the popup to the preview URL from the feature builder and it seems to work. But instead of displaying the image with the 'pinch and zoom' feature, it shows this screen: (please see attached)

Any idea? Cheers Anders
