How to create a 1.50 MIB in Prod tool 3.0

Hi, I noticed I cant choose and older then 3.0 in the prod tool but I need to export the MIB as 1.50. Is it still possible to create an 1.50 or 2.0 or 2.50 in PT 3.0?

The verticals are all exported from Indesign as version 1.50, and it says Mib Version 1.50 under Property - Value in the Production Tool. no B-layer is not selected in any of the verticals. But the only MIB version I can select in Production Tool under "Mib Version:" in the top left corner is 3.0 or none at all!

Hi Roger,

You can only export lower than 3.0 if your the version allows it. You can't for example have a vertical with "No B-layer" selected and export it as a 2.5, it must be at least 3.0.

All the verticals must be 1,5 in order for the production tool to export a 1.5 mib. If you go into to production tool you will be able to select vertical and then in the info window up in the right see what mib version it has.

Let me know how it works out!

Hi Roger,

Is it possible for you to zip and send us the verticals folder so we can have aloof at what is going on? You will find the verticals folder in the folder where you have chosen to export to.

Please send it to support@magplus.com, refer to this post in the forum.

Hi I send you an email. I did, how ever, solve the problem temporarly by using the old PT from my back up.

This problem is now solved, if you are having the same problem. Click Preferences in the Production tool. Check of you have file selected for Local Brand Settings and Mib versions file, if you do, delete the paths and see if that solves it.
