mag+ Text Search - Implementation at Issue Level

As of version 7.4 of the mag+ tools, you can now instantly search the desired text within issues. Earlier, the app users were only able to perform search in the library page. Now, with the introduction of additional search operations the search feature can be enabled at issue level while designing your apps. This will help in upgrading apps with better search functionality.

NOTE: In iOS, the search feature implementation is supported by iOS 11 and above. In Android, the search feature implementation is supported by Android 4.2 and above.

Present search functionality doesn’t support searching less than three letters. So, one can search a word with three or more letters only.

Two new additional search features are as follows:

PDF Text Search at Issue Level

  • Clicking on the search icon displays the device keyboard as shown in the screenshot below. Here, type the desired word you want to search and press the search button.
  • On pressing the search button, you’ll immediately get the results displaying the pages with the searched text highlighted.
