8.3.0 Release Notes (09/19/2019)

Features Added:-

• Preview Feature Implemented with progressive mib for Paid Issues. Up to the first 5 verticals can be provided as free to preview. This would improve the end-user experience for getting a preview of an issue before purchase.
• Single Issue apps build size has been reduced, by making the issue available via API. This will enable Single-issue apps' ability to easily update and change the issue content from Publish only without having to update the build on the App store.
• Splash screen implemented with icon at the center and solid background color. (see below screenshot)

Bugs Fixed:-

• Fix added for iOS 9 crashing on paid issue download.
• Fix added for extra space between Top Branding bar and banner.
• Fix added for Image background color matched with the issue preview background color.
• Fix added for bug with the restore functionality.
• Fix added for bug with share functionality.
• Fix added for thumbnails not showing in the reviewer app.
• Fix added for additional space in the side menu pages when going through internal links.

Product Enhancement:-

• iOS 9 support dropped, the minimum iOS version supported is iOS 10.
• Content pusher now supports video, pdf and HTML zip folder to view in the reviewer application.
• Reviewer application supports PDF, Video and HTML zip folder along with the mib file review.
• Warnings fixed while generating iOS builds and uploading on the store.

• Single Issue apps can now have the issue via API calls. Android apps will not have to create an expansion file for Single issue.  This will enable for Single-issue apps ability to easily update and change the issue content from Publish only without having to update the build on the Play store.

Bugs Fixed:-

• Fix added for video playing automatically in standard and modal popup while jumping to another vertical or closing popup.
• Fixed for issue remaining in Read Now state (button) even after disabling it from Publish. 

Product Enhancement:-

• Reviewer application supports PDF, Video and HTML zip folder along with the mib file review.

Features Added:-

• Download single issue from the server rather than giving it in build. This will reduce the build size. Now, just upload the mib on the issue, and the same will display on the device.
• Added new Splash screen options for iOS Apps. New options will have a background color with an icon at the center. The publisher can enter these fields into the publish and generate new build to see the changes.

• Added ability to show expiration message for iOS certificates. Similar to notification certificate now the expiration date will come when you upload a new distribution certificate for iOS App settings. Valid only for newly added certificates since the release.
• Added Preview feature for paid issues for all devices. - Preview can be added through Publish for newly publishing issues. The publisher can select up to first 5 verticals while publishing. This feature is available for only progressive mib only. ( see below screenshots)

Bugs and Improvements:-

• Resolved page break issue for colors when values are blank.
