Article Pages - Top

Article pages are reached by searching for content or seeing lists within section or topic pages and then clicking on an article title. As you can see in the image below, we've restyled articles and added some new functionality.

  1. Breadcrumb (Label 1): A breadcrumb link shows you where the current article is located within the Mag+ Knowledge Base. It starts from the main landing page and then shows the section, and then the topic the current article is located within. You can click on any of those links to move within the hierarchy
  2. Follow Button (Label 2): This button will allow you to receive notifications about changes to the current article.
  3. Last Modified Date (Label 3): Previously, article creation dates were the only things shown. You now can see when the article was last updated so that you know how current it is.
  4. Article Introduction (Label 4): An introduction box will give you a summary of what the article is about along with any information regarding prerequisites or links to other related articles.
  5. Topic Navigator (Label 5): A new topic navigator to the right of the article will show you where your article is located within the current section of the knowledge base. This lets you quickly jump to other topics or articles. Clicking on a topic (such as "Installing the Creative Tools") will expand that topic and show you all the articles contained within.

Article Pages - Bottom

At the bottom of each article are additional controls.

  1. Previous Article Button (Label 1): Shows you the name of the previous article within the topic and lets you quickly jump to it.
  2. Share Button (Label 2): Brings up a Share screen that lets you share the current article in a variety of ways (see more information below).
  3. Next Article Button (Label 3): Shows you the name of the next article within the topic and lets you quickly jump to it.

The Share button is only available at the bottom of articles but, when clicked, gives you a variety of options for sharing the current article to social media sites, emailing it to others, or for providing a print-friendly version.
