iTunes Connect Offline from Dec 22 - Dec 29, 2014

Apple has sent out a notice stating that iTunes Connect, Application Loader, and iTunes Connect for iOS will be offline from Monday, December 22 through Monday, December 29, 2014.

This shutdown only affects creating items in iTunes Connect and delivering new apps to customers. Customers with existing apps will continue to receive content hosted by Mag+ or by their own hosted servers.

This shutdown will not affect the ability to build iOS apps in the Mag+ Publish portal nor to build Android/Kindle Fire apps.

Note: Apple's notice stresses that new apps must be approved by December 18 to ensure that they are available during this busy period.

With iTunes Connect down, you will not be able to:

  • Create new App IDs for use in new iOS public applications.
  • Create in-app purchase product identifiers (this impacts creating Subscriptions and paid Issues).
  • Submit apps built in the Mag+ Publish portal to iTunes Connect.

If you have any questions on how this affects your apps, you can either contact your sales associate, submit a support ticket, or post a question in our Q&A forum.

Apple Notice

From Monday, December 22, through Monday, December 29, 2014, iTunes Connect, Application Loader, and iTunes Connect for iOS will be unavailable.

During this time, you will not be able to submit new apps, app updates, or In-App Purchases. You also will not be able to access iTunes Connect or make changes to TestFlight Beta Testing. You can schedule an app release or price changes to take place between December 22 and December 29. Just make sure that your changes are scheduled, submitted, and approved by December 18, to ensure your app remains available during this busy period.

Users who are currently testing or invited to test your prerelease apps with TestFlight Beta Testing will not be affected.

You can also request Sales and Trends reports during the downtime by using the Autoingestion tool. Note that these reports may take longer to become available.
