Apple has sent out a notice stating that iTunes Connect will be offline on Sunday, October 26, 2014 for 6 hours starting at 6:00 AM (US Pacific Time).
This shutdown only affects creating items in iTunes Connect and delivering new apps to customers. Customers with existing apps will continue to receive content hosted by Mag+ or by their own hosted servers.
This shutdown will not affect the ability to build iOS apps in the Mag+ Publish portal nor to build Android/Kindle Fire apps.
With iTunes Connect down, you will not be able to:
- Create new App IDs for use in new iOS public applications.
- Create in-app purchase product identifiers (this impacts creating Subscriptions and paid Issues).
- Submit apps built in the Mag+ Publish portal to iTunes Connect.
If you have any questions on how this affects your apps, you can either contact your sales associate, submit a support ticket, or post a question in our Q&A forum.
