Omniture "Offline Reporting" Feature

A bug was recently discovered where some Omniture analytics users that have "Offline Reporting" enabled in their Publish and SiteCatalyst settings were not having that offline data report to their SiteCatalyst dashboards.

If you use Omniture as your analytics provider, we recommend that you check your Omniture dashboard to see if your reporting has been affected (ie. significantly lower page view events than usual).

If so, our suggested course of action is to:

1. Disable "Offline Reporting" in Publish

  • Go to <http://publish.magplus.com>/Apps/Analytics Configuration
  • Disable by unchecking the box next to "Analytics Offline Reporting"
  • Click "Save"
1. Disable "Offline Reporting" in Publish

2. Request that Adobe disable "Offline Reporting" in SiteCatalyst

3. Update your app

Note: For more information, see the article "Upgrade Your iOS App".

4. After the new version is approved and live, request that Adobe enable "Offline Reporting" in SiteCatalyst

Note: You may want to wait until a significant amount of users have updated before doing this, as the reporting will not change significantly until many of your users are actively using the new version.

5. Enable "Offline Reporting" in Publish

  • Go to <http://publish.magplus.com>/Apps/Analytics Configuration
  • Enable by checking the box next to "Analytics Offline Reporting"
  • Click "Save"
5. Enable "Offline Reporting" in Publish
