Android - Publish an issue for Android or Kindle Fire

It is in Mag+ Publish you publish your issues to your app. The issues won't be included in the build of the app, when a user taps on the issue in your app the issue will be downloaded of the server.

You can choose to publish the issues to both your iPad and Android application or just to one of the platforms.

Publish a new issue

  1. Go publish.magplus.com and click the ISSUES tab
     
  2. Click Add new issue.
     
  3. Fill in the information and upload the assets needed.

    Title - The title of the issue as you want it to be seen in the store and library of the app.

    Description - A short description of the issue that will be shown in store.

    Store image - This is the image that will be shown in the Store and Library for the issue. (png, min width or height: 768, max ratio: 1:2 to 2:1, required)

    Cover image file - The cover image is displayed on the details page in the store for all iPad Apps up to version 2.6. This is required if you have released an iPad app before version 3.0. (png, dimensions: 300x175)

    Thumb image file - The thumb image is displayed in the list view in the store for all iPad Apps up to version 2.6. This is required if you have released an iPad app before version 3.0. (png, dimensions: 80x80)

    Distribute on iPad - Check this box if you want to publish the issue to your iPad app.

    Distribute on Android - Check this box if you want to publish the issue to your Android app.

    Distribute on Kindle Fire - Check this box if you want to publish the issue to your Kindle Fire app. 

    Free issue - Check this option if the is not going to be paid.

    Apple Product Identifier - Fill in only if the issue is going to be distributed on iPad. Enter the Product ID for your in-app purchase made in iTunes Connect if the issue is not going to be free.

    Android Market In-app Product ID - If the issue is not going to be free, enter the in-app product ID created in Android Developer for the issue here.

    Click Create.
     
  4. On the following page, click upload under issue MIB and upload the MIB for the issue.
     
  5. Leave the issue unpublished and test the issue in your app.
     
  6. When you are happy with what your issue, you can go in and publish it by editing the issue and clicking Publish.
