Here you manage the subscriptions you want to offer to your readers. If you are building for Ipad and plan on having your App in Newsstand, you must offer a subscription. Also before you can do this step you need to add a subscription in iTunes Connect to get your Apple Shared Secret (follow the steps here to create the subscription).

Adding new subscription

Click Add New Subscription, you are now presented with the Add New Subscription view.

• Title - This is the name/label for the issue that will be displayed in the application and in the store.
• Description - A short introductory text that is displayed in the store along with the cover image.
• Apple Product ID - This is the Product ID from Apple that corresponds with the specific duration you have created in the in-app purchase in iTunes Connect.* Remember to mark the issue as cleared for sale in iTunes connect before you publish it here.

Images

• Thumb image file - The thumb image is displayed in the list view in the store.
• Cover image file - The cover image is displayed on the details page in the store.

Editing or deleting a subscription

You can always update a subscription with e.g. new images and text and also remove subscription that are no longer current.
