Here you can define test devices (iPad or Android). With these devices you will  be able to see both published and unpublished issues, without having to purchase them. This is useful for staff and production staff who need to review issues before they go live. A prerequisite is that the app is installed on the device.

In this tab, you can add new test devices and remove old ones.

Add an iPad as test device

To add an Ipad as a test device, you need to add its' identifier, Mag+ apps does not use UDIDs anymore because of Apple's new policies, they have their own Test Device IDs that are given to the device by the Mag+ Publish System.
It is only possible to view unpublished and published issues for free in the AdHoc version of the application.

Finding the test device ID on an iPad

  1. Install the AdHoc ipa file as described in this article. 'How to Install Your Test App on Your IPad'
  2. Start the app
  3. Go to either the Store or Library in the app
  4. Tap the info icon
  5. Tap "test device" and your mail service on the iPad will open with a prewritten message.
  6. Send the message to the person who is going to register your Test Device ID. (The default email address is to the person who generated the app build in Publish)

Add an Android tablet as test device

As with the iPad application we have integrated a device ID generator in the android app. It is possible to see unpublished and published issues for free in all versions of the application. Please read below how to register your device.

  1. Start the app on your tablet.Android_About_menu_icon.png
